The Co-founder of the Chimezie Ononye Foundation, Mrs Magret Ononye, an executive member of the Nonprofit Women In Tech, gave a keynote speech at the Nonprofit Women in Tech Training program on the importance of reaching out to the poor in the rural communities.
At Chimezie Ononye Foundation, our programs are designed to reach out to the poor and needy in poor communities here in the United States. Recent studies have shown that In the United States, 10.5% of the population — 34 million people — live in poverty as of 2019. We intend to reach out through our programs designed to provide free food, free healthcare, youth mentorship, free laptops and free school supplies.
